General Eligibility & Registration

  • All presenters must be active ISPPD members and fully registered for the convention before submitting any abstracts or proposals.
  • All abstracts must be submitted online before the official deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Participation by Academic Year

  • 1st Year Postgraduates: Can choose to participate in any two events among poster presentation, quiz, and table clinics.
  • 2nd Year Postgraduates: Can participate in paper presentation and quiz.
  • 3rd Year Postgraduates: Required to participate in paper presentation only.

College-Wise Submission Limits

  • Poster: Maximum of 3 submissions per college.
  • Reel: Maximum of 1 submission allowed per college (open to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd - year postgraduates).
  • Quiz: Only 1 team is permitted to represent each college in the preliminary round.

Presenter Requirements

  • Only one presenter is allowed per paper and must be present at the time of presentation.
  • The identity of the presenter or their institution must NOT be revealed anywhere in the presentation.

Slide & Format Specifications

  • All presentations must strictly follow the official template provided for the convention.
  • Slides must be in MS PowerPoint (PPT) format with a 16:9 layout.
  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Font Size: 14

Content & Media

  • Slides should be self-explanatory, focusing more on illustrations and figures rather than text.
  • Audio and video clips should be avoided within the slides.

Timing & Duration

  • Presenters exceeding the allotted time will automatically be excluded from prize contention.
  • The total duration for the paper presentation is 8 minutes (6 minutes for presentation + 2 minutes for discussion).

Presenter & Attendance Requirements

  • A maximum of two presenters are allowed per poster. Both must be registered for the convention and physically present during the evaluation.
  • Absence of any registered presenter (if presenting as a team of two) will result in disqualification, and no certificates will be issued.

Poster Format & Design Specifications

  • Must be created as a single slide in MS PowerPoint (PPT) format using a standard 16:9 layout.
  • No animations, embedded audio, or videos are allowed.
  • Slides should be visually engaging and self-explanatory, prioritizing figures, diagrams, and illustrations over dense text.
  • Text must use Times New Roman font, with a size of 14 for headings and size 12 for body text.

  • Place your Convention Registration Number in the top-left corner of the poster slide.
  • To ensure blinded evaluation, the identity of the presenter(s) or institution must NOT be revealed anywhere on the poster.

Team Composition

Each team must consist of exactly 3 participants.

Preliminary Round

The preliminary round will be conducted physically during the convention.

Date, time and venue will be announced in advance on the website.

Final Round

Only the top 4 teams from the preliminary round will qualify for the final round, which will also be held live during the convention.
